Horizontal Bunny Hop - an Easter comedy

These are the voyages of the... oops, wrong genre!
These are the snips, excerpts and ponderings of Lark Westerly, upon her romantic comedy series A
Fairy in the Bed. The series began with the December 2016 publication of Fairy on the Christmas Tree, written when Lark's publisher sent out an all-hail-ye for Christmas-themed shorts. Enter Frances, who is so strongly right-handed she uses her left hand for one thing only; brushing her hair. More stories; shorts and novellas, have followed.

With Easter approaching, here's an excerpt from Horizontal Bunny Hop, the tale of a young woman named Mab who spends her Easter birthday at a mystery destination. The short (around 11000 words) is for adults only, but the following excerpt shouldn't bring a blush to any reader's cheek. Nevertheless, if you happen not to be an adult, please stop reading now.

Mab has just received some peculiar news from Room Service, whose name is Derry Warrener.

“What’s that? God, I need a drink.”
Derry reached for the bottle of advocaat and removed the top. He fetched a drinking glass from a cupboard she hadn’t even noticed before and poured in a glug of thick liquid. “Room service,” he said, handing it to her.
Mab tried to toss it down, but advocaat is a thick, syrupy liqueur and it wouldn’t toss. She stuck her finger in the liquid and sucked it greedily.
“A mutable fay is just a fairy whose form isn’t stuck,” said Derry. “There are quite a few of us, but most of have a particular sub-type. A Christmas elf is a mutable fay, see, but not all mutable fays are Christmas elves.”
Mab had almost finished her drink by the mechanism of finger-dip and suck, and she held out the glass for more. He handed her the bottle.
“What are you then?” She poured another glug, dipped and sucked her fingers. “In particular?”
“You had to go there.” He sighed. “Can’t you guess? Think rabbit.
“Brer Rabbit? Roger Rabbit? Peter Rabbit?”
“No. Try the Easter Bunny.”
“What!” Mab exploded, almost dropping the glass.
“Not literally. I don’t hop about the mall flashing my scut and carrying baskets of eggs.”

BLURB

Single Mab spends her Easter birthday in the attic of a boutique hotel. Her sister’s joking gift of a Bunnyhopper toy provides some amusement until the batteries run out. Mab is mad enough to make a wish. Enter Derry; a fairy with a taste for chocolate. Room Service has never been so much fun.
